A CaminoBox package features two kinds of lodgings. At the end of every walking stage (except the last one), you will stay in private albergues. These are privately-run hostels with comfortable bunk beds, shared bathroom facilities and the pleasant atmosphere of camaraderie that you typically find along the Camino de Santiago. On your last night in Santiago, you will stay in a lovely four-star hotel not far from the city centre—a just reward for all that walking!

Remember, our private albergues are selected with great care. It’s important to us that the owners take pride in their establishments, facilities are up to scratch and the vibe is true to the spirit of the Camino.
The CaminoBox has been designed to be activated in the easiest way possible. When you buy a CaminoBox, you will receive an activation code. To activate your box, go to www.caminobox.com and enter this code (Step 1). Next, select your itinerary and dates of travel from the dropdown menus (Step 2). Finally, click ‘Activate’ (Step 3) and you’re good to go!

Now you wait for an email from us with your booking details. Don’t forget to take this booking voucher with you!
Don’t worry, nobody will be left stranded. We will provide you with a 24/7 support telephone in case you encounter difficulties during your trip.
No, flights are not included.
Your new CaminoBox is valid for TWO YEARS from date of purchase. This means you can activate your CaminoBox at any stage within the two-year period following the purchase date (For example, if you buy your CaminoBox on August 31, 2018, it will remain valid until August 31, 2020).
It’s easy. Instead of passing on the gift as you’d intended, simply keep your CaminoBox and activate it at a time of your choosing using the Activation Code that you received when you bought the CaminoBox.
Simply present the CaminoBox to the new recipient along with the Activation Code that you received upon purchase. The new traveller will activate the CaminoBox themselves following the three simple steps outlined above.
